Hello! I am a 20 year old freelancer. I created this website to serve as a collection of my adventures, achievements, and ideas. My desire and passion are two things that make me special, so this website is my way of showcasing that.
Here is a snapshot of what a week in my life looks like:
I do a variety of freelance work: graphic design (Cover Art/Logos/Business Cards); web design (ellenchristinecouture.com + more to come); and shoe design. Along with that, I have recently started my own brand “LLXV”. The main reason I created my own brand was as a way to practice my designing. Some designers like to sketch in their notebooks, but I prefer to learn by trial and error. Having my own brand allows me fully bathe myself in what is means to run a business. If I can draw the blueprints (design), design the product (manufacturing), create the website (eCommerce), catch the customers attention (marketing), sell the product (sales), get the product to the consumer (logistics), and manage the assets (finance) then I feel very confident moving forward in my attempts to make my dream a reality.
I also attend a course put together by the Fashion Institute of Technology in Manhattan in partnership with Complex called “Sneaker Essentials”. This course is a year long study of the entire sneaker life cycle: from sketchbook to delivery truck and everything in between. My goal is to be a designer by 2025.

“When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life.” – John Lennon
